Walking the halls in Las Vegas this year at HRTech Conference, one thing was clear > HRTech is no longer just about efficiency. Itโs about intelligence, integration, and impact. The best tools on display werenโt simply automating workflows; they were empowering teams to make smarter, faster decisions backed by data.
But letโs be clear: at the top of the food chain, no platform replaces people. In Japan especially, relationships, trust, and "playing the long game" in both client and candidate partnerships will always win out. Tech can accelerate, but it canโt substitute for human connection.
Throughout the expo, I had the chance to meet many Japanese HR Execs and "Talentpreneurs". Speaking with a number of them, it became apparent that it was almost too overwhelming. Their excitement was real but they also know that in Japan, driving change at the HR and C-Suite level takes time, patience, and a fair dose of courage.
In Japanโs conservative corporate environment, tools and ideas that create instant energy in Nth America and the EU often face resistance. Transformation isnโt a quick win; itโs about leadership willing to push structural change at HQ.
And this is where Meshd is doubling down. We are continuing to focus on equipping our consultants with the right tools and insights so they can dedicate their time and energy to what matters most > creating better outcomes for clients and candidates. By strengthening our people with sharper platforms and deeper industry expertise, we ensure that technology enhances, rather than replaces, the human-first approach that defines Meshd.
